The Constituency That Couldn't Prove Anything
An anonymized constituency-office engagement focused on field verification, structured evidence and a usable project record.
Representational imageThe Challenge
The constituency office had approved and funded 14 community projects over an 18-month period: boreholes, classroom blocks, road grading and a small health post. On paper, everything looked fine. But when the Senator's team sat down to prepare a mid-term report for the constituency, they hit a wall. Nobody could say with confidence which projects were finished, which were half-done and which had quietly stalled. Photos were scattered across WhatsApp groups and personal phones. Vendors had been paid but not all had delivered. With oversight questions beginning to arrive, the office needed answers fast.
Our Role
Station 360 was brought in as an independent execution and documentation partner. The task was not to defend the projects; it was to establish what had actually happened on the ground and build a record that could stand on its own.
What We Executed
A 2-person field team visited all 14 sites over 6 weeks. At each location the team captured geo-tagged photos and video, recorded GPS coordinates, interviewed site supervisors and community stakeholders and documented the status of every project. Where work was incomplete, the outstanding work and required action were recorded. Where work was complete, delivery was checked against the original scope. The team also conducted 10 beneficiary interviews across 4 communities.
The record was organised into a single Evidence File around 5 questions: what was supposed to happen, where, what actually happened, what evidence exists and what happens next.
Locations and Deliverables
14 sites across 4 local government areas. 340 geo-tagged photos. 22 video clips. 18 stakeholder interviews. 10 beneficiary interviews. 1 consolidated 78-page Evidence File with site-by-site status, GPS data, photographic evidence, an issues log and recommended actions.
Outcome
According to Station 360's supplied anonymized case-study record, the office used the Evidence File to brief leadership, respond to oversight queries and prioritise follow-up. The record states that 3 stalled projects were re-engaged with vendors, that the Evidence File format was adopted for subsequent projects and that Station 360 was retained for a second phase.
